Dark Ambient Upright Bass meets doom, industrial music and cinematic atmospheric drama in this new release from Austin Davis. Dark but powerful, melancholy but serene, suspenseful and psychedelic. In DREAD, Davis uses his own brand of minimal bass drone to tell the story of one person lost in a storm of fear, anxiety and torment, and his faith in God's power and will to deliver him from that darkness. It's a catharsis, a meditation, and a lamentation up to God that he might help this ailing creation. Improvised and live, recorded December 2019.
